Company Wide Training - 4 Workshops Methodology Equity and inclusion efforts are unique to each client’s needs. We build programs with everyone in mind, not just a single segment of any one demographic. The Flexability Team devises strategies that consider the broad views, concerns, and ideas of the client. We believe in collaboratively and compassionately getting people to “row in the right direction.” Building upon this coordinated effort is the difference between equity and inclusion success and failure. In collaboration with the leadership team, we often develop a multi-year strategic plan that outlines equity and inclusion priorities, company initiatives, and best practices and processes, for execution of the plan to achieve the goals. Results Throughout the training and in conversation with the COO and Director of HR, we made small adjustments and upgrades to address the issues raised by the participants. Feedback emails expressed outrage, umbrage, curiosity, relief, and joy. We engaged directly with some and coached the leadership to engage with the others. The leadership team focused on recruiting and retention upgrades with the objective of identifying talented diverse candidates. Since completing the trainings, the company doubled in size with many of the new hires self-identifying in one or more diversity identities. Flexability conducts training for new hires and annual training for the entire company. We also work with the HR team on a “train the trainers” program to systemize the predictable to humanize the exceptional.
