Assessments

At Flexability, we use a rigorous mixed-methodology approach for our assessments. We combine quantitative and qualitative research to create a 360-degree snapshot of your organization's activities.

We validate anecdotal evidence with findings from our survey results, resulting in timely, relevant, and tangible insights that you can use.

Qualitative
  • Robust focus groups and one-on-one interviews
  • Identify key themes in team member experiences
Quantitative
  • Develop customized question sets
  • Initiate Organization-wide Survey
Analyze
  • A clear and holistic snapshot of what is going on in your organization, addressing gaps and potential areas of improvement
  • A clear strategic roadmap that is relevant, timely, and actionable

Here are the key elements in our process:

Qualitative research
(focus groups and interviews)

We begin with focus groups and one-on-interviews with your team. We keep focus groups quite small (7-10 participants) to ensure maximum participation and structure them with consideration to representation and levels of power.

Quantitative research
(organization-wide survey)

We develop a survey based on the responses and insights gleaned from the focus groups and interviews. Themes may include perceptions around shared power, a sense of belonging, wellness, or professional development.

Holistic, confidential,
anonymized reporting

We analyze the data gathered to produce a comprehensive report that identifies the gaps within your organization. The report will include quotes from our focus groups that provide helpful context to the issues identified (with care taken not to identify those quoted).

While we provide guidance on how to tackle every gap identified, our recommendations are strategic, focusing on priority areas tied to your organization’s goals and synthesized into a practical action plan.

Visualization and Analysis of Quantitative Data

Visualisation of data

In addition to our rigorous research, our team uses data visualization to analyze and report on our quantitative assessments.

Graphical representations, such as the example illustrated to the right, allow us to quickly gauge shifts in employee sentiments across the survey period. The colors help differentiate the degrees of agreement or disagreement with each statement, facilitating a clear visual comparison of trends over multi-year projects.

This updated visualization strategy enhances our understanding of how employee attitudes toward specific DEI-related issues have evolved, providing invaluable insights into the effectiveness of initiatives implemented and areas needing continued focus.
